Are you a creative woman with a public presence? Maybe you’re an artist, a writer, a teacher, speaker, or a leader in your church. You need practices that are made for women’s lives, sustaining our unique needs and spiritual freedoms. Drawing on the prayers and customs of the first 1200 years of the church, we will encourage and equip you with prayers, practices, and perspectives to help you thrive in your vocation.

THE RULE OF PRAYER IS THE RULE OF FAITH. WE KNOW WHAT THE CHURCH HAS TAUGHT FROM THE BEGINNING BY PRAYING HER ANCIENT PRAYERS. WHAT DO THE MINOR & MAJOR ORDER CONSECRATION & ORDINATION PRAYERS FOR WOMEN FROM THE FIRST 1205 YEARS OF THE CHURCH TELL US ABOUT WOMEN’S SANCTITY & PUBLIC VOCATIONS? WHAT IF WOMEN TODAY WERE BLESSED PUBLICLY IN CHURCH FOR MORE THAN BAPTISM, MARRIAGE, AND CHILDBIRTH?

Craft and loosely structured free time (puzzles, dance, karaoke options)
Meals will be catered. NOTE: In accordance with older custom, we are not subjecting women to the strict fast of monastic men. Meals will have fish and dairy options as well as meat options due to the high percentage of 35+ women with dietary restrictions due to perimenopausal health needs. If you prefer a strict fast, you might want to wait till our next conference in a non-fasting time period.
Fellowship with other women who understand.
All participants will receive a tote bag, an illuminated manuscript workbook journal, and a custom jar candle.
Most sessions will take place at Park End Books in our meeting room.
Participants will stay at the historic Winter Inn.
Double occupancy and single rooms available, as well as day rates. We do not have final prices yet, but we estimate Double occupancy at ~ $400, single at ~$525, and day rate with meals at ~$125/day (Friday and Saturday). We will update to real prices by the end of October when we post registration links!
