Enriching the narrative of your creative nonfiction or fiction with accurate sensory details is one of the best ways to engage curiosity and attention. But how can you find out what people ate, drank, wore, and believed in the time period of the saints you’re writing about? This talk will give you a kickstart on worldbuilding with resources and tips. We’ll end with discussion and group-writing a scene applying what you learned. Resource list will be emailed to registrants after the conference.
